Energy saving regulations are effective from the 1st October 2008.
On July 26 in Federal Law Gazette was published the Resolution on saving energy, which came into force on 1 October 2007, the most important innovations included the introduction of energy passport for residential buildings.
From the 1st July 2008 temporarily the document becomes mandatory for existing buildings for purchase or lease, and should be accessible to all stakeholders.
Depending on the age of the building and number of house units, demand certificate or a consumption certificate is required. The energy certificate is valid for 10 years.
In subsequent stages, the energy will be introduced:
From 1 July 2008:
Identification requirement for residential buildings which were completed before 1965 is; in residential buildings with more than four residential units between freedom of choice
Energy or energy identity card
From 1 October 2008:
Proof of ID (only for energy identification card) for residential buildings with up to four residential units and building application before the 1st of November 1977
From 1 January 2009:
Identification requirement for residential buildings, which were completed after 1965, in residential buildings with more than four residential units choice between energy consumption
identity card or passport energy
From 1 July 2009:
Identification requirement for non-residential buildings; choice between energy consumption and energy demand ID card
